I provided the documentation to prove this a few months ago; can't seem to track it down. I have tried to restart the computer, hold down command, option, r, p upon start up and it didn't help. I'd suggest the following:Reset the SMC: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964Run the extended Apple Hardware Test: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1509If all else fails, schedule a visit to the Apple Store. I tried a new hard drive and reinstalled the OS. Check This Out

I had gone to sync my iPad with iTunes and suddenly was getting this message. You don't want any current flowing thru the machine at all. Unplug power cable and all other external connections. Push and hold power button for about 20 sec. release and plug everything back in.
