The SMC should not need to be reset unless you change a fundamental aspect of your hardware (add ram, swap a drive, etc.). Any solutions? After inspection it looks like the problem is in the cable. I also tried to restart the laptop and plug-unplug method but it won't work still. Tried with hubs as well nothing.
